Is BetterTrade free?

Yes. BetterTrade is free to download and use with up to 50 trades, basic analytics, a trade calendar, and import/export. Upgrade to Pro to remove all limits and unlock the AI Insight Engine, Trader Health Score, Coach Dashboard, and an ad-free experience.

What platforms does BetterTrade support?

BetterTrade is currently available on Android via Google Play. iOS support is planned for a future release.

Can I import trades from MetaTrader 5?

Yes. BetterTrade supports importing trades directly from MetaTrader 5 HTML or CSV account history exports, as well as any generic CSV file with standard column headers.

Is my trading data secure and private?

Absolutely. All data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore with Firebase Authentication. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Your data is private and only accessible by you — enforced by Firestore Security Rules that prevent any user from reading another user's data.

Does the app work offline?

Yes, partially. BetterTrade uses a Hive-based local cache with a 5-minute freshness window. When the cache is fresh, the app serves trades with zero Firestore reads — so your journal and analytics are available offline or on poor connections.

How does the AI Insight Engine work?

The Insight Engine is rule-based and runs entirely on-device. It analyses your trade history against 8 coaching rules — including revenge trading detection, risk of ruin, rolling edge decline, and best symbol analysis — and surfaces the most critical insights ranked by severity.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes, at any time. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. All your data is permanently and irreversibly removed. See our Delete Account page for full details.
