1. How to Delete Your Account
The fastest way is directly inside the BetterTrade app — no need to contact anyone:
- Open the BetterTrade app on your device.
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
- Read the confirmation prompt and tap Delete permanently to confirm.
Alternatively, you can request deletion by email: [email protected]. Please send the request from the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 7 days.
2. What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

| Anonymous crash & analytics data (Firebase) | Retained (aggregated) | Crash reports and analytics aggregates contain no personal identifiers and are retained per Google's standard retention policy (up to 90 days) for service improvement. |
Any automated backups containing your data are purged within 90 days of account deletion.
3. Deleting Only Specific Data
If you want to remove specific trade records without deleting your full account, you can do so directly in the app:
- To delete a single trade: open the trade → tap the ⋮ menu → Delete trade.
- To delete all trades in a journal: open the journal → Settings → Clear all trades.
You can also email [email protected] to request that a specific subset of your data be removed while keeping your account active.
