Here is where you will find individual securities that are trading at or near significant technical levels. Every day the BetterTrades research team looks through more than 2,000 optionable securities to identify stocks at are at support, resistance and key technical levels.
There are areas to find stocks having a volume breakout, stocks at support, stocks at resistance, channeling stocks, and candlestick patterns. After accessing this portion of the page, the user can easily click on a link that will unveil the stock's chart (at least three months of time in a candlestick format) and the company profile, which includes the date for upcoming quarterly earnings, price and volume information, key ratios, and per share data.
The breakout section separates stocks into two breakout categories: above a resistance level on heavy volume, and a breakdown through a support level on heavy volume.
Stocks at support is broken into four different support categories: stocks bouncing from support, stocks that are testing support, stock that is approaching support, and stock that has broken through support.
Stocks at resistance is broken into four different resistance categories: stocks declining from resistance, stock that is testing resistance, stock approaching resistance, and stock that has broken through resistance.
Channeling stocks are separated into stocks that are currently trading in a channel. The information is subdivided into stocks that sell for less than $15 and stocks that sell for more than $15. Users can locate stocks that are near the bottom of the channel, climbing from the bottom of the channel, approaching the top of the channel, and near the top of the channel.
Candlestick patterns listed on the site are stocks that form an evening star or morning star. Users are warned if the pattern has been formed or has been confirmed.
