The Dedicated Trader is an all-encompassing subscription product created by Better Trades to help provide education and assistance in leveraging the stock market in order to find a path to financial independence.

The Dedicated Trader is divided into an education center, a market research area, a trading center and trading tools. The idea is to provide a site that teaches trading through education, research and analysis.

The Education Center is built to provide information that will help traders of any level, from beginners to veterans. There is a section on investing in stocks that covers the basics of buying and selling. Another section does the same for investing in options, with another portiondevoted to the various bullish, bearish and neutral strategies. The technical analysis section explains the common methods of predicting a stock's movement, support and resistance, and candlestick charts.

The Market Research portion of the site provides a source for market news, including upgrades and downgrades, and a report that's updated every 30 minutes to provide the latest news from Wall Street. This is also the site to find information about a company, including the date for the upcoming earnings announcement. The market calendar lists all the scheduled economic events that could move the market, taking away some of the surprise element. The option quotes portion allows the user to look at an option chain of any stock and includes all the information needed to make a trader more successful.

The Trading Center is highlighted by the Play of the Day, a stock that the BetterTrades research team feels may deserve more evaluation. The daily strategy watchlist highlights potential option plays that are on the radar screen of the BetterTrades research team, all from one of the strategies that are taught: covered calls, put selling, credit spreads, and options.

The Trading Tools section includes a comprehensive investment dictionary, which includes more than 3,000 investment and financial terms, and the Dedicated Trader Bookstore, which features some of the latest trading books and investment sources.
