Quote Line - Real Time Markets

Better Trades Real Time Markets

The quoteline doesn't take up much room on the main page of Real Time Markets, but there's plenty of power packed in the little tool at the bottom of the screen. The quoteline provides concise, detailed information to the user.

The quoteline finds information about any stock, index, or exchange trade fund that's bought or sold on the major markets. Think about it: Information about thousands of stocks come flying into the main page of Real Time Markets on your computer screen. And it all finds its way on the quoteline on the bottom of the page.

The quoteline can help locate a stock quote on Real Time Market. Just type the ticker symbol and press enter. Boom! The information appears.

The quoteline can be added to the main page. Users click on the view tab at the top of the page, and then click the quoteline tool. Voila! It is added to the main screen.

The quoteline generates the high price for the day, the low price for the day, the last price of the day, the amount the stock has risen or fallen since the market opened, the bid price, the ask price, the volume traded for the day, and the average volume traded.

All the information can be digested before entering or exiting a trade. This information is just one portion of deciding how to get positioned in a trade. Has the stock gone up to a specific price point? Maybe that means it's time to exit a trade. Has the stock fallen to a level of support? Maybe that means it's time to get into a trade.

Whatever action you take, be sure to consult the quoteline before making a final decision.
