Freddie Rick's Collaborative Work

BetterTrades founder Freddie Rick knows it's difficult to accomplish goals if you go alone. That's why he places such a high value on collaboration. Freddie Rick knows that working as a team helps the road get smoother and the final result become stronger.

His favorite collaborative partner is his wife, Mitzi Rick. Mitzi believed in Freddie when he was down on his luck and living in a friend's garage, but found a strong supporter in Mitzi. She stood by him and helped give him confidence.

It worked. Freddie was able to find the right formula to stock market success and was soon able to put the material in a marketable format. As a result Freddie Rick was able to create BetterTrades and grow it to the No. 1 stock market company in the country. He readily admits that none of the success would have been possible without Mitzi.

"Mitzi taught me a lot about giving back, and believing and trusting in God," Freddie Rick said.

In 2008, Freddie Rick began a relationship with two-time Super Bowl winning coach Jimmy Johnson. Freddie wanted a dynamic, believable host for the new BetterTrades infomercial and approached the former Dallas Cowboys coach about the possibilities. Johnson signed on to be the face for the BetterTrades infomercial, which recruits individuals to join the program. Jimmy Johnson said he learned more about the stock market with BetterTrades than he had in 20 years with a stock broker.

Freddie Rick has also collaborated with hotel and event planners to create the annual Traders Super Summit. In 2008 the event was held in Dallas, Texas. In 2009 the event was held in Orlando, Fla., at Walt Disney World, where it will return in 2010.
