Each individual teaches at least one of the many skill building or strategy based classes at the stock and option education company. Founded on the idea that financial freedom can be obtained by trading the stock market and that trading proficiency is best obtained by borrowing the experience of other successful traders, BetterTrades has put together a collection of traders to instruct its students.

Each coach has come to BetterTrades in order to share their trading experience with less experienced traders. On order to provide the most value possible, each teaches classes on the strategies that they trade themselves. By doing so, the BetterTrades coaches can provide information that is hard to obtain through trial and error in the market. For the most part, they teach the methods and techniques that provide the highest probability of success while maintaining the minimum amount of trading risk. Each of the strategies and techniques that they teach has been developed through years of practice in the market. By providing this information to students they are hoping to move them quickly up the trading learning curve and minimize the mistakes they might make while trading.

Better Trades uses the moniker "trading coach" to exemplify the way in which information is provided to students. Becoming a successful trader is similar to becoming a good athlete or proficient in a particular sport. It takes discipline, practice, hard work, and training. The BetterTrades program prepares students to trade the market in a similar way. Through the classroom setting, practice trading, and the discipline to apply what is learned, students are trained to become successful traders.
