At BetterTrades, students can attend classes in a variety of ways. Each class has been carefully crafted to deliver information that can be readily used by students. Since the goal is to provide students with the education needed to learn how to trade the stock market, each class is taught by an experienced instructor.

Trading classes are provided in three specific formats. On location classes are taught live and held in a locale that is close to the students that attend. In online classes, coaches provide the lesson in a virtual classroom where students are connected by their computer over the internet. For students that cannot attend the on location events or do not have the ability to attend the online classes, distance learning courses are available. The subject matter for each format is similar and may be changed slightly due to the time constraints of the platform.

On location events are multiple day classes that are given at different locations around the U.S. (and abroad) periodically throughout the year. Students usually register for the class being given close to where they reside. Instructors travel to the events to teach live and to interact directly with students. On location events give students an unique opportunity to interact with the BetterTrades coaches as part of their stock and option trading classes.

Online classes provide individuals that cannot attend on location events with the opportunity to learn trading and to take trading classes from their homes. All that is required is that an individual have a computer and internet access. Through the online platform used by BetterTrades, students can communicate with the instructor as they are teaching. Coaches instruct by the use of a microphone and by sharing applications through the desktop that attending students can see. Unlike multiple-day on location events, most online classes are two hours in length, although BetterTrades does provide some in-depth online classes that take as much four hours to complete. Most classes that are provided online are recorded which allow students to review their trading classes after they have completed them.

Distance learning courses are on location events that are delivered on DVDs. The distance learning platform was developed to service those students that are unable to travel to attend trading classes or that prefer to study in the comfort of their own homes. Distance learning trading classes allow students to learn at their own pace and provide a method for reviewing the material periodically over time.

These free trading classes are delivered online and give students a preview of what they may expect in the classroom setting.
