BetterTrades was founded by Freddie Rick, who learned how to trade stocks and options the hard way - in the school of hard knocks. The idea of BetterTrades was born when Freddie realized he could share his knowledge with others who were willing to educate themselves about the market.

Freddie Rick created BetterTrades and it has evolved into a stock market education company with over a dozen stock market education coaches, distance learning courses, on location seminars, and group mentorship sessions. Depending on how they like to learn, a student can pick and choose not only their method of learning, but also what strategies they want to learn.
